Journey Through Sea Life Melbourne

SEA LIFE Melbourne Aquarium
SEA LIFE Melbourne
Conservation Core

Our vision is of a world where our oceans are healthy, properly protected and full of diverse life.

We want all visitors to our aquarium to love the oceans and the creatures that live in them as much as we do. By sharing their beauty, we want to inspire you to help us protect them for generations to come.

When we planned our visit to Melbourne, we looked for attractions near our hotel and discovered SEA Life Aquarium.  As lovers of cruising, we have a similar philosophy as they do about conservation.  We want to be assured that future generations will be able to enjoy the sea as much as we have.  In fact, we have been members of our local Shedd Aquarium for over 25 years.  Our membership helps to support their conservation and education programs.

Initially we thought about purchasing advanced tickets online, but since we didn't know exactly when we were would arrive, we decided to just walk over to the aquarium and pay onsite.   It turns out that they had a senior discount there which was slightly less than the advance online purchase.

By now we were hungry, so we had a quick lunch and then started exploring the aquarium.   There are several zones for you to explore.  If you have followed us for awhile, you know my love for penguins.  I'll embed a video we took while we were enjoying the Gentoo and King Penguins.  We've posted several other videos on our YouTube Channel as well.  We hope you enjoy visiting the aquarium virtually.
