Where is Chris - Tourism Day

Tourism gives people new experiences, enriches their lives in countless ways, helps businesses, and bolsters the economy. National Tourism Day takes place during National Travel and Tourism Week, which occurs during the first full week of May. Congress passed a resolution in 1983, a proclamation was signed by Ronald Reagan the following year, and the week was first celebrated that May.

We've sometimes revisited destinations years apart.   Sometimes the destination is unchanged, but often it has been transfigured between visits.   This destination went through an improvement phase between our visits.  Can you guess where Chris is?   It is a popular cruise destination.

To #KeepTheKidsEngaged, ask them where they would go.

Did you see the pictures of Walt Disney World on my Facebook page yesterday?   They were taken from a helicopter.  The photographer had permission from Disney and worked with the air traffic control to fly over the empty hotels and amusement parks to get some never before seen footage.

The image today was from our latest cruise.  The beacons of light that peer into the night's sky keep ships safe.   We thought it would be a good image on this tourist day to bring a sense of safety into our lives.   Please stay safe and healthy so that your dreams can become reality soon.

We hope you are enjoying this series of  "Where is Chris" posts.  We'd love your feedback on our social media.
