Another tropical storm has formed in the East Pacific. TD-10E formed well south of Mexico and has quickly developed into a named storm. It is currently no threat to land, but we will continue to monitor this storm.

MAXIMUM SUSTAINED WINDS ARE NEAR 35 MPH...55 KM/H...WITH HIGHER GUSTS. WEAKENING IS FORECAST DURING THE NEXT 48 HOURS...AND JOHN IS EXPECTED TO BECOME A REMNANT LOW THIS AFTERNOON.
