The 8th named storm of the 2012 Atlantic Season, Helene, is in the Gulf of Mexico and headed for landfall in Mexico. It will be the second storm in as many weeks to make landfall. Tropical storm warnings have been issued for the weekend.This storm formed from the remnants of TD-Seven.
