Introducing Celebrity Beyond

 
April 29, 2021 Celebrity Cruises revealed their newest ship in the Edge class - Celebrity Beyond. Their name for this ship is perfect as they have really gone beyond our expectations with this ship. Known for modern luxury and innovation, they've taken a winner with Celebrity Edge and Celebrity Apex and, if you can imagine, improved on that design. Just like one might do in their own home, after living in it for awhile, you know what you love and what you could improve.  They have done just that.

Celebrity added length and height to this new design, allowing for expansion of some of the popular venues onboard, such as the Rooftop Garden and Sunset Bar. Taking advantage of multiple decks there and in the Resort Deck, guests can relax and socialize in style while not missing a view of the ocean and their surroundings.

Lisa Lutoff-Perlo, President of Celebrity Cruises, talks with Royal Caribbean executives, designers, and architects that had the inspiration for Celebrity Beyond. Internationally acclaimed architect Tom Wright of WKK Architects collaborated with Celebrity Cruises to create the Resort Deck on Celebrity Edge. With his vision, the Resort Deck offers endless ways to enjoy the outdoors and connect with the sea.

Revolutionary in its vision, the Resort Deck is encompassed by an outward-facing asymmetrical pool deck with a poolside gallery full of over-sized art installations, two-story martini hot tubs, and high-ceiling cabanas that overlook the ocean.

There’s also the Rooftop Garden, an urban playscape where you can catch a movie, have a picnic, or dance among the stars. Fly high in the sky on the Magic Carpet, cantilevered over the ocean and connecting you to destinations in a new immersive way.

Find an intimate space at the re-imagined, adults-only Solarium. Or go for a run on the jogging track that spans two decks and winds up, down, and around the Rooftop Garden and terraced pool deck. Collectively, the Resort Deck is unlike any other outdoor space at sea—or on earth.
