Hope Floats in the Caribbean

Captain Kate McCue, first female captain of a major cruise line, is the skipper of Celebrity Edge, which is currently joined by several other ships in the "neighborhood" as she put it in her Instagram post. The captains from different ships and cruise lines joined together at 7:30 PM for a ship horn salute. Watch the video on IG. #HopeFloats

We were fortunate to sail on Celebrity Edge last December, before the Coronavirus spread across the globe. Captain Kate is a bright example of the future. We wish her, all the captains, and crew calm seas. Stay healthy.   Our hearts are with you and your families as you are apart during these difficult times.

EdgeCited to Set Sail on Edge Again

Second Time on 
Celebrity Edge

November 2018 we sailed on Celebrity Edge for one of the Trade and Press Preview sailings. We immediately fell in love with the ship, and vowed to sail on her again. Two days just wasn't enough time to fully experience the ship.

 Celebrations at Sea 

After the cruise we checked upcoming sailings, and as luck would have it, there was a Western Caribbean itinerary during my birthday week. A cruise can enhance any special celebration, so we decided to book a Sunset Veranda cabin.   Last time we sailed on Edge, we were in an Infinite Veranda.  This way we could experience the difference in order to share with our guests.
