 Attention Artists
What Would You Do
With Cruise Ship's Hull
For Your Canvas

While some ships have plain hulls, Norwegian's ships start with a blank canvas and come to life thanks to the creative artists that are selected.  Guy Harvey, well known marine artist and conservationist was selected to create the hull art for Norwegian Escape, the latest ship in the fleet.  It was put in service in 2015 and we were fortunate to be there for our National Conference when she began sailing out of Miami.

In the following article, published by Park West Gallery, Guy Harvey tells about what it was like to see his artwork come to life in the shipbuilders yard.  Watch the video to see the ship's art come to life with Guy Harvey describing the process.

Norwegian Escape's hull isn't the only place you can enjoy Guy Harvey's marine artwork while on the ship.   The ship's art gallery features at least one of his paintings.  Shown here is one right by the atrium staircase.

Inside the shops you can also purchase art which you can take home to enjoy long after your voyage.  Whether it's a piece of clothing that you can enjoy, a bag, or other souvenirs, your purchase will also contribute to Guy's conservation efforts.
