Sydney Harbour Bridge
March 19 marks the 87th anniversary of the opening of the Sydney Harbour Bridge, one of the key landmarks in Sydney, Australia. The Sydney Harbour Bridge is a heritage-listed steel through arch bridge across Sydney Harbour that carries rail, vehicular, bicycle, and pedestrian traffic between the Sydney central business district (CBD) and the North Shore.
In January, we sailed from Sydney, on Majestic Princess, to New Zealand. We got our first glimpse of Sydney Harbour Bridge, above, from the Royal Botanical Garden, during our pre-cruise stay in Sydney. On this occasion of the 87th birthday of the bridge, we'll share some of our images from our Australia visit.
