Cost of Mexican Food on Allure Increases

New Pricing on
Oasis-Class Ships

Rita's Cantina (Mexican) and the Seafood Shack, on  Allure of the Seas and Oasis of the Seas respectively, now have a $3 up-front service fee, and all items are a la carte. In addition, a 15 percent gratuity may be added to the bill.

Rita's Cantina
The menu features fresh made pico de gallo salsa, party nachos, fiesta guacamole, fajitas and a variety of beef, chicken and seafood dishes complemented by both contemporary and classic Margaritas. An alcoholic and non-alcoholic package is also available at Rita's Fiesta, availability varies by ship and itinerary.

Seafood Shack
Start with appetizers like crabcakes, coconut shrimp or sweet potato fries, and then dig into our Fish & Chips or the Catch of the Day. Not in the mood for seafood, even if the rest of the family is? Bite into one of our juicy delicious burgers, tasty salads or loaded baked potatoes.

Royal Caribbean made these changes to have pricing in line with the guest's menu selection with different price points based on the selected menu items.   This is similar to the dining experience on land.   It also made the changes to make the gratuities more equitable for the wait staff.

What do you think about Royal Caribbean's new pricing policy for these casual fee-based venues?
