Celebrity Apex Sailing from Athens, Greece - Summer 2021

Celebrity Apex℠, the second stunning ship in the brand’s transformational, multi-award-winning Edge Series, will make its long-awaited world debut in Greece this summer beginning June 19. With luxurious seven-night sailings roundtrip from Athens through September 2021, Celebrity Apex℠ will visit some of the most idyllic destinations in the Mediterranean, including Mykonos, Rhodes and Santorini, Greece; Limassol, Cyprus; and Haifa and Jerusalem, Israel. 

The sailings will open for booking on March 30. 

Celebrity Apex℠ will sail with all crew and guests above the age of 18 vaccinated against COVID-19, and those under the age of 18 with negative PCR test results.

Sail Away Party Norwegian Bliss

Let's Get This Cruise Started ...


After the mandatory safety drill, we headed up to the pool deck to meet some friends and get ready for the Sail Away Party. Our first stop was at the Waves bar for one of the featured drinks. Since we weren't in international waters, the 20% gratuity was added to our tab despite having the unlimited beverage package.

The Cruise Director and staff hosted the Sail Away Party. Soon the pool deck was bopping to the live music. No matter where you were sitting or standing around the pool, you could see the activity on the ship's big projection screen.

As you can see from these pictures, it was a gorgeous day in Los Angeles. What better way to start your cruise than to watch from the open decks as the ship departs the port?

Following the sail away, it was time to head back to our cabin to see if our luggage had been delivered and get ready for the evening festivities.
