THE SIXTH TROPICAL STORM OF THE 2011 ATLANTIC SEASON FORMS...
NO THREAT TO LAND... 

On Friday, August 12th, there were four potential storm fronts that the NHC were monitoring for potential tropical cyclone formation. Later Friday afternoon, this storm formed north of Bermuda but was heading away from land.   There are no watches or warnings posted for this storm at this time.  It will likely weaken within the next 48 hours.
